Vaco by Highspring is looking for a Developer - Application Security. You will embed secure development practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps). Your responsibilities include collaborating with development and architecture teams to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities, implementing and automating dynamic application security testing (DAST) using modern SaaS security tools, and performing secure code reviews to assist in vulnerability remediation. Additionally, you will build and maintain secure containers and deployments using Kubernetes and Docker and ensure applications are securely deployed within cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. You will also select and integrate security tools into the CI/CD pipeline and document security procedures while providing guidance on secure coding practices. Required qualifications include strong Java development expertise, solid experience in application security, and hands-on experience with various security tools.
