BWI GmbH is looking for a Database Engineer - DB2 (m/w/d) to support the digital future of our country. The Central Operations team is at the heart of the Shared Service Operation (SSO), monitoring system and service operational status. This role focuses on the administration of DB2 database servers on a Linux basis, maintaining users, permissions, access control, creating triggers/jobs, developing and maintaining bash scripts, and ensuring proper backup and restore of databases according to IT security guidelines. Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent training, with a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in DB2 administration, particularly with DB2 LUW high availability solutions. Relevant certifications are advantageous, along with strong analytical and organizational skills.
