About the Role

As a Database Engineer - DB2 (m/w/d), you will be responsible for maintaining and administrating DB2 database servers on a Linux platform. Your tasks will include user and permission management, access control, trigger/job creation, and maintaining backup and restore procedures. You will also oversee database configuration and ensure operational compliance with IT security policies.

About the Candidate

We are looking for candidates with a completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification. You should have at least 5 years of practical experience in DB2 database administration and experience with DB2 LUW high availability solutions. Knowledge of IT service support processes, project management experience, and strong analytical skills are essential.
