About the Role
Opus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer for a remote opportunity in the UK. This full-time role offers a salary of £60,000–£70,000+ depending on experience. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining Ruby on Rails applications, ensuring quality, and delivering impactful features.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and maintaining Ruby on Rails applications (full-stack with Hotwire, Turbo, Stimulus)
- Addressing technical debt and resolving bugs
- Designing and delivering new features end-to-end
- Collaborating on infrastructure and deployment
- Engaging directly with users to understand their needs and improve the experience
- Writing tests and ensuring high code quality
- Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
About the Candidate
We are looking for candidates with strong experience in Ruby on Rails and knowledge of Rails frontend tools such as Hotwire, Turbo, and Stimulus. You should be comfortable in a startup environment, possess a solid understanding of deployment, and have excellent communication skills. You should also be enthusiastic about growing with the company and taking ownership of your work.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with DevOps or cloud platforms
- Familiarity with product design or user research
