About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Java Development Team Lead to join our development team in Poland. This role involves leading a talented full-stack team to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that enhance business performance within the Individual & Family Plan segment of the client's retail healthcare platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead a full-stack development team
- Coordinate activities with client stakeholders
- Be the main point of contact for all team-related aspects
- Manage, motivate, and grow team members
- Map user stories to detailed technical specifications
- Design, implement, test, deploy, maintain, and document solutions, participate in code reviews
- Implement back-, middle- and front-end parts of applications, integrate and test them
- Manage the multiple source repository and maintain release repository
About the Candidate
Expectations:
- University degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience with IT projects
- 3+ years of strong hands-on development experience in Java, Spring, and/or Angular 7
- Deep understanding of database management and ability to write complex SQL queries
- Proven ability to design and build complex technology systems
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Azure or other cloud services
- Knowledge of healthcare insurance domain
- Business Driven Development / Specification by Example
