This position typically suits a mid-level or senior engineer who is proficient in writing backend services using Go Programming language for cloud-native services on GCP. Candidates should have strong skills in developing and designing cloud platform services, proven clean code writing experience, and familiarity with CI/CD practices. Additional desirable skills include experience with Kubernetes, Cloud SQL, Terraform for Infrastructure-as-code, and some familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within a small agile team to design, build, test, and deploy backend GCP services using Golang.
  • Focus on writing clean, maintainable code that is well-tested.
  • Define, design, and implement new features, collaborating with engineering, product, and support teams.
  • Set up and monitor GCP resources using Infrastructure as code with Terraform.
  • Create dashboards and alerting with Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to the existing code base.
