About the Role
As a Site Reliability Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Technology and Cloud Services division, you will solve complex and broad business problems with simple and straightforward solutions. You will configure, maintain, monitor, and optimize applications and their associated infrastructure to innovate and enhance existing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Guide and assist others in building appropriate level designs and achieving consensus among peers.
- Collaborate with software engineers and teams to design and implement deployment strategies using automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop, test, and implement solutions ensuring availability, reliability, and scalability of applications.
- Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for the applications and platforms.
- Collaborate with technical experts and stakeholders to resolve complex problems.
- Utilize service level indicators and objectives to proactively address issues before they affect customers.
- Support best practices in site reliability engineering within your team.
About the Candidate
Required Qualifications:
- Formal training or certification in site reliability principles and concepts with proficient applied experience.
- Over 5 years of experience in the field.
- Proficient in Python and familiarity with software applications and technical processes (e.g., Cloud, AI).
- Experience with observability tools like Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, etc.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Terraform.
- Experience in container and orchestration technologies including ECS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in networking technologies.
- Ability to present information logically and efficiently and demonstrate proactive learning of new technologies.
