About the Role

As a Senior Go Backend Developer, you will join a team of highly committed developers to further develop our tracking platform justtrack. You will contribute your own ideas to enhance our SaaS business, which provides app and game publishers with a robust toolset for managing global marketing growth processes. This includes managing, analyzing, and automating marketing processes to gather deep mobile product insights. You will have the opportunity to create state-of-the-art microservices from scratch and work with well-established services that unify various external APIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bring fresh ideas to improve our robust and reliability-first Golang backend.
  • Take a leading role in designing and implementing new microservices.
  • Collect and unify all minor variants of APIs and user flows.
  • Constantly improve existing code and system architecture.
  • Collaborate with experts from different technological backgrounds and shares knowledge within cross-functional teams.

About the Candidate (Expectations and Nice to Have Skills)

The optimal candidate should have:

  • 3-5 years of backend or cloud software development experience.
  • Expert knowledge in Go and 2-3 years of experience specifically with Golang.
  • Good understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and application design.
  • Basic understanding of IaC tools like Terraform.
  • Team player with problem-solving abilities and ownership of tasks. Optional skills include familiarity with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, Svelte, and experience with AWS services like DynamoDB, ECS, Kafka, and SQS.
