About the Role
As a Radar Software Engineer (C/C++), you will be part of an Agile team engaged in the design, development, and testing of infrastructure platforms for combat management systems and radar-optical sensors. You will be involved in the entire development cycle, from specification to demonstration, and work with cutting-edge technologies including containerization and virtualization to enhance system performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Developing software in C and C++ within a high-tech radar environment.
- Analyzing, designing, and implementing software components in real-time systems.
- Collaborating in multidisciplinary Agile teams with experts from various technical fields.
- Contributing to the architecture, security, and scalability of systems.
- Assisting in integration, testing, and validation of software in complex platforms.
About the Candidate
We are looking for candidates with:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience as a software developer in a high-tech environment.
- Proficiency in C and C++ with experience in object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of Linux-based systems.
- Preferred experience with container technology, virtualization, and modern software architectures.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills, strong collaboration abilities in multidisciplinary teams, accuracy, and excellent communication skills.
Language & Nationality Requirements:
- Excellent command of the Dutch language is required. The candidate must possess Dutch nationality to work on defense-related projects under national security legislation. Candidates with dual nationality may only be considered if they hold Dutch nationality and have lived in the Netherlands for at least 8 years.

- A salary ranging from €5,000 to €7,000 gross per month based on 40 hours.
