About the Role

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to clients globally. You'll engage with visionaries across various industries to enhance the hybrid cloud and AI journey, leveraging strategic partner ecosystems and robust technology platforms within the IBM portfolio.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Software Developer, you will:

  • Analyze, validate, and propose improvements to existing solutions with the support of architects and technical leaders.
  • Engage comprehensively across all phases of the software development lifecycle, providing excellent customer service.
  • Drive discussions with stakeholders, creating innovative coding solutions
  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Design and implement robust software applications.
    • Ensure high performance, availability, and responsiveness of applications.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience: 7 to 15 years in a similar role, with hands-on experience in technologies such as:
    • Java (versions 8, 11, and 17)
    • Spring Framework (versions 4 and 5)
    • Spring Boot
    • Frontend Frameworks: VueJS or Angular
    • Relational Databases: Oracle and/or MSSQL
  • Other necessary skills include:
  • API Development, CI/CD pipeline management, SQL performance tuning, application security practices, and familiarity with tools like JIRA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in End-to-End Testing with tools like Cypress or Selenium.
  • Understanding of SonarQube rules and OWASP guidelines for code quality and security.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to document technical work clearly.
