About the Role

Checkout.com is looking for Senior Software Engineers who can develop the next-generation payment technologies. Our engineers work to enable our merchants to improve their acceptance rates and customer experiences by creating innovative solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer in the Emerging Products pillar, you will lead various critical projects by fostering innovation and technological advancement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design scalable systems, and mentor junior engineers.

About the Candidate

We expect our Senior Software Engineers to be versatile, have exceptional leadership qualities, and be passionate about tackling new challenges across various tech stacks. Candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in modern tech stacks, particularly backend or full-stack environments.
  • Experience with Kotlin, Swift, or hybrid mobile technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the capability to work independently or as part of a team.
