Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership, supervising and mentoring junior developers, and fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure high code quality through thorough code reviews and promoting best software development practices.
  • Drive architectural decisions, designing and implementing scalable and maintainable software architectures.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define and deliver exceptional feedback solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of our backend development using Ruby on Rails.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring stability and reliability of our platform.
  • Stay ahead of the curve with relevant technologies and evaluate their potential application.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our development processes and tools.

About the Candidate

What You'll Bring:

  • Excellent programming skills and extensive experience in backend development with Ruby on Rails.
  • In-depth knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and best practices in software development.
  • Sound knowledge of software architecture and data modeling.
  • Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills combined with assertiveness.
  • Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation and customer satisfaction.
