About the Role
Join a fast-growing FinTech team as a Software Engineer and help shape the future of secure, compliant financial technology! You will build and maintain critical backend systems for compliance processes, such as transaction monitoring, anti-money laundering, and secure onboarding. In a dynamic fintech environment, you will shape event-driven microservices architecture and collaborate on the dashboard.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of complex backend components focusing on transaction monitoring, AML measures, and customer onboarding processes.
- Contribute to redesigning and maturing microservices, improving the scalability and reliability of our systems.
- Solve technical issues, write high-quality code, and contribute to system design and architecture.
- Support the integration of external parties for onboarding and compliance, ensuring secure storage and processing of customer data.
- Collaborate closely with other engineers to improve the dashboard and customer experience, while taking on fullstack tasks.
About the Candidate
We are looking for someone with:
- A strong background in backend development, preferably with experience in Kotlin, Java, or TypeScript.
- Proven experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures, understanding event-driven workflows.
- Independence in taking ownership of tasks and projects, showcasing proactive problem-solving skills.
- Enthusiasm for fintech, particularly around transaction monitoring and compliance processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a small team.
