Software Engineer - Embedded AI

You will bridge the gap between state-of-the-art AI and resource-constrained embedded systems, creating efficient solutions that bring autonomous driving applications to the edge. You will work as part of an international team and learn from seasoned technical experts to optimize and deploy machine learning applications to automotive embedded compute platforms. You will also troubleshoot complex issues at the intersection of embedded systems and AI/ML technologies.

About the Candidate

Your background should include a Master or PhD degree in engineering or a related field (e.g., physics, mathematics). Strong programming experience in Python and C/C++ for embedded software development, along with familiarity in ML model optimization methods (like quantization, pruning, etc.) are crucial. Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch) and strong analytical skills will be essential for success.

Nice to have: It would be beneficial if you are familiar with instruction set and memory architectures of general-purpose processors (e.g., ARM) as well as vector processors (e.g., DSPs) and have experience with service-oriented architectures, multithreading, and real-time operating systems.
