About the Role
As a principal member of the TechOps SRE team at Fidelity Investments, you'll collaborate with engineering partners to enable and drive key initiatives from design to implementation. You'll work with our highly available multi-region Kubernetes environments (AWS EKS), which are central to our enterprise-grade infrastructure strategy, supporting numerous mission-critical workloads. This role presents the chance to develop and refine your skills while contributing to the business’s emerging infrastructure strategies.
About the Candidate
Candidates should bring a wealth of experience in AWS and Kubernetes. Ideal candidates will have:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.
- Expertise in building and deploying Docker images and migrating applications to Kubernetes (preferably EKS).
- Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS.
- Proficiency in UNIX operating systems and shell scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and monitoring tools like CloudWatch and Datadog.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels and work independently.
- Programming experience, preferably in Python, and familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
