About the Role

For a dynamic financial institution based in Frankfurt am Main, we are looking for an experienced Software Developer (m/f/d) – Finance / Trading who is eager to help shape modern backend architectures and automated data flows within the financial environment. The company has been one of the leading players on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange for decades and is technologically far more than classical.

In this role, you will develop tools, APIs, and visualizations that have real impact—be it in reporting, automating internal processes or continuing to develop innovative trading platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Development and enhancement of internal tools and interfaces in securities trading.
  • Connection and maintenance of databases and APIs for market and transaction data.
  • Use modern technologies (e.g., Python, Rust, Docker) to automate processes and manage data.
  • Build modules for data visualization, including reporting and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with internal departments—especially from the finance and trading sector—to align on technical requirements.
  • Participate in exciting development projects in trading (e.g., integration of cryptocurrencies and tokenization models).

About the Candidate

  • Solid experience in backend development—ideally with Python and/or Rust, Docker and database technologies.
  • Experience with interface connectivity (REST, WebSocket, etc.), data modeling, and visualization.
  • Familiarity with processes or systems in the financial field (e.g., trading, pricing, risk, reporting).
  • A structured, solution-oriented working style with a high quality standard.
  • Strong communication skills, team spirit, and initiative—even in new topics.
