Software Engineer - Early Career

About the Role

We are looking for early-career engineers to help us collect, aggregate, visualize, and analyze high-scale metrics, logs, and application data. Software engineering at Datadog includes a variety of exciting opportunities. Whether you’re writing new integrations, building data pipelines, or working with the open-source community, our early-career engineers are key contributors to our product.

The role includes:

• Solving a scaling bottleneck in a critical service
• Deploying a new feature to production and progressively rolling it out with feature flags
• Investigating and fixing production issues from a service your team owns
• Optimizing a service to handle more traffic at scale
• Planning important projects in partnership with your team

About the Candidate

You are in the process of receiving/have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related scientific field, or equivalent experience. Targets include a full-time start date in 2025. You should be comfortable coding in one or more languages, value code simplicity and performance, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment solving complex problems.
