As a Senior Research Engineer at Thomson Reuters Labs, your responsibilities will include:

About You

You are a fit for the Senior Research Engineer position if:

  • Required Skills and Experience:

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
    • At least 5 years of software engineering experience, with 2 years in a Machine Learning role.
    • A deep understanding of Python software development stacks and the ability to write clean, reusable, maintainable code.
    • Collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
    • Experience with cloud computing and Agile methodologies.
    • Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and SDLC concepts.
  • Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • Experience integrating ML solutions into production-grade software, knowledge of ModelOps, and familiarity with NLP tasks.
    • Hands-on experience in other programming languages or scripting languages (Java, Rust, Scala, etc.).
