About the Role

At our newest Electronic Health Record Centre of Excellence in Letterkenny, Ireland, we're assembling a dynamic team committed to revolutionizing the industry. Our mission is simple: to make the health system work better for everyone. As a Data Integration Analyst - EHR Systems, you will serve as a liaison between end-users and provide advisory support to build and maintain health data integration components.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a vital link between end-users and our technology solutions, focusing on HL7 standards and health system integrations.
  • Design, develop, and maintain integration components within EHR systems, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with our diverse team to translate complex business requirements into practical healthcare IT solutions.
  • Assist with building interfaces and data conversion for EHR implementation along with post go-live support.
  • Responsible for development and documentation of internal procedures in conjunction with EHR applications.
  • Offer technical guidance on significant projects and mentor junior team members.
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to provide support.

About the Candidate (expectations and nice to have skills)

Required qualifications:

  • Degree Qualified in relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or STEM subject) or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of software testing approaches and prior experience performing unit testing, integration testing, etc.
  • Experience with SQL, MSSQL, Oracle data management programming skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & SharePoint).
  • Proficient in programming languages like C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, VBScript or ASP.Net.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with HL7 or Health Data exchange (HL7 FHIR, HL7 CDA, etc.).
  • Familiarity with integration engines such as InterSystems or Microsoft BizTalk.
  • Experience mentoring and providing subject matter expertise.
