About the Role
Cognitive Group is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer for a freelance role in the DACH region. The chosen candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models using Azure Machine Learning and Azure Databricks.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using Azure Machine Learning and Azure Databricks.
- Build and manage data pipelines with Azure Data Factory.
- Deploy models into production environments using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure Functions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to design data-driven solutions and dashboards using Power BI.
- Implement MLOps practices within the Azure DevOps ecosystem.
- Ensure model accuracy, performance, and compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., DSGVO).
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role. They are expected to be proficient in Python and ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services is crucial, particularly:
