About the Role
As a Data Engineer within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in either Cleveland, OH or Pittsburgh, PA. The position is primarily based in office; however, some responsibilities may be performed remotely, contingent upon management's discretion. You will develop, support, and implement data services for multiple applications, using your technical knowledge and experience to design, build, and maintain technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements data solutions ensuring scalability, availability, and maintainability.
- Works closely with users, developers, operations and business partners to define requirements.
- Implements data migration and transformation processes to ensure accuracy and security of data solutions.
About the Candidate
Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities, including:
- Strong proficiency in Hadoop, Oracle, Python, Spark, SQL, and Pyspark.
- Preferred skills in Analytical Thinking, Data Mining, Data Science, and Machine Learning.
