About the Role
At Synechron, we are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer who will focus on understanding and documenting our ServiceNow instances and their dependencies. This role requires you to prioritize technical debt to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include delivering improvements to maximize system availability and performance, collaborating on tool development, and managing ongoing issues.
Responsibilities
- Deliver improvements maximizing the availability and performance of supported systems through optimizing operational tasks.
- Collaborate on the development of operational tools and manage ongoing problem resolutions.
- Troubleshoot ServiceNow issues, and support on-premise capabilities in a Linux environment as necessary.
- Understand the Firm's ServiceNow instances and related dependencies to contribute to documentation.
- Identify and prioritize technical debt impacting client satisfaction or operational efficiency.
- Provide feedback on policies and procedures related to SRE practices.
About the Candidate
We seek candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience in software development. Required skills include proficiency in one or more programming languages like Python, and experience in ServiceNow administration or development is preferable, while not required. Good communication skills and a dependable team-oriented approach are essential to forge effective relationships with colleagues.
