About the Role

Are you an industry visionary and technologist at heart with a passion for designing complex Cloud solutions? As a Solution Cloud Architect at EPAM Systems, you will work closely with business in identifying solution requirements and key case studies for future solutions, enabling the GCP cloud journey, and designing and prototyping cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business to identify solution requirements and key case studies.
  • Enable the GCP cloud journey, analyze TCO, and create a business case.
  • Design and prototype cloud solutions with detailed architecture documentation.
  • Create a unified strategy for cloud transformation governance and automation.
  • Analyze existing application portfolios and develop a next-gen application architecture.
  • Lead implementation projects from requirements to solution go-live.
  • Oversee development efforts and provide necessary technical support.
  • Participate in pre-sale activities including RFP processing and proposal development.
  • Maintain strong understanding of industry trends and cloud best practices.
  • Serve as a cloud evangelist and provide technical guidance on cloud solutions.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate should be an avid technologist with expertise in modern cloud architecture and experience in the successful implementation of GCP solutions. You should have a background in large-scale software development, with recent coding experience in languages like Java, JavaScript, C++, and more. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is also a requirement.
