The Reality Labs team at Meta is looking for Computer Vision Engineers to support our engineering teams as we build towards our goal to transform the way people come together to interact, work, and play. Responsibilities
- Design and development of novel machine learning algorithms to solve computer vision problems in areas such as: Vision-Language Models, Vision Foundation Models, 3D reconstruction, surface reconstruction, or photorealistic rendering, depth estimation, semantic segmentation, 2D and 3D semantic key point detection, or object tracking.
- Drive the team's goals and technical direction and pursue technical opportunities.
- Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and research teams to develop technologies from early exploration and incubation to production.
- Develop prototypes for future VR/AR/MR experiences, driving continued development, and integrating robust solutions into products.
- Define projects for other engineers to possibly solve and achieve impact based on your direction.
About the Candidate
Minimum Qualifications
- MSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Deep Learning, Computer Vision, 3D Vision, Robotics, Machine Learning.
- Experience developing computer vision algorithms or infrastructure in C/C++ or Python.
- Experience in deep learning and PyTorch.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD degree in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- Experience with distributed systems or on-device algorithm development.
- Industry experience working on projects such as: Vision-Language Models, Vision Foundation Models, 3D reconstruction, surface reconstruction, or photorealistic rendering, depth estimation, semantic segmentation, 2D and 3D semantic key point detection, or object tracking.
