About the Role

Schneider Electric is seeking an Application Engineer for SCADA systems, LAN networks, and cybersecurity at our factory in Świebodzice. This role involves configuring control and supervision systems, testing and commissioning systems at the plant and client sites, and reporting on projects.

Responsibilities

  • Configure control and monitoring systems based on standard tools and project documentation.
  • Test and commission SE production control systems both in-house (FAT) and at customer locations (SAT).
  • Test communication between devices based on protocols such as IEC 60870-5, DNP3.0, IEC 61850, MODBUS, and OPC.
  • Collaborate directly with domestic and foreign clients.
  • Provide project reporting.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A higher technical education in fields such as electronics, telecommunications, automation, robotics, or computer science (students in the final year will also be considered).
  • Knowledge of PC technology, network devices, LAN, control systems, and cybersecurity.
  • Familiarity with virtualization concepts such as Hyper-V and VMware.
  • Knowledge of high-level programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, VB).
  • Practical knowledge of databases and SQL.
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams.
  • A valid driving license category B and a readiness for frequent domestic and international business trips.
