Responsibilities
In this hands-on, high-impact role, you will:
- Design and build advanced Android features that enable reliable calling, messaging, and mobile connectivity.
- Tackle engineering challenges unique to telecom apps, such as managing dual SIM logic and data usage optimization.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable Kotlin code, leveraging modern Android frameworks and architecture patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, design, backend, and infrastructure.
- Drive decisions on architecture, tooling, and performance strategy.
- Lead large technical projects and mentor engineers on the Android team.
- Continuously improve app stability, performance, and usability.
About You
- 10+ years of experience building and scaling Android applications, ideally in a high-growth or consumer-facing environment.
- Expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development, including Jetpack libraries.
- Experience with telecom-like environments and solving mobile problems.
- Strong system design skills with a passion for mentorship and technical leadership.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a bias toward action.
- Bonus: Familiarity with telecom protocols, eSIM, or backend systems.
