About the Role
EXFO develops smarter testing, monitoring, and analytic solutions for the global communications industry. As a Software Developer in our embedded application team 'tech-hub', you will take charge of the evolution of our next generation FTB platform, developing new features in Flutter and Dart on embedded Linux. You will be involved in designing and developing automated tests and participating in sprint planning.
About the Candidate
We expect candidates to have a strong knowledge of Dart/Flutter (both back-end and front-end) and experience in embedded Linux. Familiarity with source code management tools such as GitLab, and experience in developing application architectures that favor automated testing (BDD, Gherkin, Cucumber) is important. Knowledge in backend technologies like C#, Python, and Node.js, as well as cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), is a plus. A good understanding of message queuing (RabbitMQ) and MQTT protocol is also beneficial. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, demonstrate teamwork and collaboration, and be open to innovative solutions.
