About the Role

Our Software & Data Services team plays a vital role by steering and monitoring numerous plants within the Virtual Power Plant. Your responsibilities include building high-availability automation solutions using our control system NEMOCS. Join us in creating a future where green energy predominates.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Conceptualizing, implementing, and testing software for energy balancing processes.
- Developing backend solutions and various interfaces for operational use.
- Collaborating in a Scrum team that applies agile practices like Code Reviews and Retrospectives.
About the Candidate
We value motivation and eagerness to learn over having all qualifications.
- A successful IT qualification (education or proof of comparable knowledge).
- Several years of software development experience, preferably in Java or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with key technologies may be beneficial:
- Java 21, Kotlin, Maven, Spring, Guice, JUnit, AssertJ, Mockito, MQTT, AMQP, SQL, HTTP, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible.
- Understanding of various balancing energy products and the regulations surrounding them is a plus.
- You must be fluent in German and ideally possess basic English skills.
