About the Role

Adecco is recruiting for a Frontend Developer Sr., fluent in Spanish & English for a 12-month contract opportunity for our client based in Mexico City. This role is fully remote. The successful candidate must be an independent consultant (incorporated) and must be eligible to work in Canada. Additionally, the candidate must be based in Canada and willing to pass a technical test.

Responsibilities

The Frontend Developer Sr. will have the following responsibilities:

  • Understand the work of the web designer and the Back End developer (manage the concepts for teamwork).
  • Ensure the correct translation of design into HTML and CSS code.
  • Responsible for the semantic structure of the content and ensure accessibility of the sites.
  • Control typography, templates, design forms, and interactivity.
  • Manage software development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and eXtreme Programming.

About the Candidate

The Frontend Developer Sr. must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • Education: Systems Engineer, Computer Science, or similar.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Frontend Development.
  • Coordinating work teams and have proficient technical English.
  • Must have strong knowledge of JavaScript, React, and CSS.
  • Experience with TypeScript, style components, ESLint, Axios, HTML, and .NET 7.2+ are considered strong assets. Redux Saga is also a strong asset.
  • Must have knowledge in design and management of visual elements of a website.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with Visual Studio 2019 or Visual Studio Code.
  • Experience with versioning code using TFS or GIT.
  • A high sense of responsibility and urgency is essential for success in this role.
