About the Role

DevOps Consultant at NEXUS Nederland - Help us ease the burden on healthcare. Located in Vianen, this role is hybrid, allowing you to work three days from home, and you can earn up to €6,400 gross per month.

As a DevOps Consultant, you will be at the heart of healthcare IT, ensuring that our medical software applications function optimally. You will combine technical depth with customer orientation, advising our clients and facilitating software installations in their environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on releases, updates, and version management within our cloud infrastructure.
• Manage Java-based application servers (like JBoss) and Oracle databases.
• Troubleshoot third-level incidents and perform root cause analysis on logs and exceptions.
• Deliver custom solutions for clients by configuring technical integrations.
• Participate in the 24/7 on-call rotation, responding to disruptive production issues.

About the Candidate

We are looking for a technically driven DevOps engineer or application administrator who wishes to advance toward cloud, security, and infrastructure automation. You should be analytical, customer-oriented, independent, and enjoy complex IT challenges.

Requirements:

• HBO working and thinking level, preferably via an ICT training or relevant work experience.
• Experience in application management in complex environments, preferably using JBoss or similar Java application servers.
• Familiar with databases like Oracle or SQL Server and adept at working with scripts and logs.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD, or a desire to grow in these areas.
• Excellent command of the Dutch language.

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud migrations, DevSecOps, or technical integrations in healthcare or business environments.
