We need a Cloud Native Software Engineer to help realize this vision by building applications that can be deployed from the Edge to the Cloud. As part of our team, you will optimize and extend Cloud Native software infrastructure for various use cases.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze new technologies in Cloud Orchestration Service Mesh Networking
- Benchmark and optimize cloud-native applications
- Engage with major customers to comprehend their priorities and use cases, impacting our technical direction
- Build and implement prototypes into production software, delivering best-in-class Cloud Native Infrastructure for Intel processors
- Solve problems and design innovative solutions
About the Candidate
Required:
- An Honours degree, Master’s, or PhD in a software engineering or related discipline
- Experience building Cloud-Native Microservices based applications in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Preferred:
- Experience with distributed applications and cloud orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with Linux development, device drivers, and kernel application development.
- Engagement with open-source communities and projects.
- Knowledge of networking protocols, performance benchmarking, and application optimization.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies and Linux Kernel Networking.
