About the Role

Join BWI GmbH as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (m/w/d) to ensure the digital future viability of our country. You will work in our Chief Technology Office (CTO), which focuses on strategic renewal and is aided by our Technology Center AI & Cloud (TC).

Your Responsibilities

  • Evaluate new research and industrial developments in language models and agent-based systems.
  • Assess innovative machine learning training methods as well as data processing techniques.
  • Develop prototypes and provide consulting on technology issues.
  • Conduct presentations for varied audiences.

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the Data Science field post-graduation.
  • Excellent programming skills in object-oriented languages such as Python.
  • Good knowledge of Linux and basic understanding of cloud infrastructures (e.g., Kubernetes), and databases (e.g., vector databases, NoSQL).
  • Ability to present at different levels, from experts to laypersons.
  • High degree of self-reliance, result orientation, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Strong frustration tolerance when working with technologies in alpha and beta stages.
  • Fluent German and very good English language skills, both oral and written.
