About the Role

As a Backend Developer / Software Engineer at Client Server, you will work with Java 17, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and AWS in a modern cloud-based infrastructure. The role involves collaborating with the Lead Engineer on the company’s whiskey trading platform, which emphasizes code quality and development across the full lifecycle.

Work From Home Policy

You will join the team in Central London with the flexibility to work from home twice a week.

About You

  • Degree educated with a 2.1 or above in Computer Science or a similar STEM discipline from a top-tier university.
  • Strong experience in Java and Kotlin development.
  • Familiarity with Agile processes and Test Driven Development (TDD).
  • A solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
  • Exposure to technologies including Scala, React, Spring, Oracle, Redis, Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
