About the Role
DeepRec.ai is looking for an experienced Machine Learning Team Lead to lead the growth of their ML team over the next few years. In this remote-first role, you will report directly to the Director of ML and be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of ML engineers and data scientists to shape the company’s logistics strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and growing a team of machine learning engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Developing and deploying ML models across various logistics applications, focusing on pricing optimization and customer behavior analytics.
- Overseeing the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, including data preparation and model training.
- Implementing MLOps best practices for scalable and efficient ML workflows.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams like Data Engineering and Business Intelligence to ensure ML solutions align with business objectives.
- Staying updated on emerging ML technologies and ensuring compliance of ML models.
About the Candidate
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning, with at least 1 year in a leadership capacity.
- Proficient in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Experience with deploying ML models in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong expertise in MLOps, including CI/CD for ML and model versioning.
- Experience with data processing pipelines and feature engineering using Spark, Airflow, or dbt.
- Familiarity with real-time analytics and predictive modeling is a plus.
- Previous experience in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex ML solutions into business impact.
