About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and management of CI/CD pipelines in an agile environment. You will work collaboratively with development teams to ensure effective deployment of applications on OpenShift and optimize existing infrastructure integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift clusters.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams.
  • Monitor and optimize pipelines performance; troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
  • Ensure collaboration with the client for integration with existing infrastructure.

About the Candidate

To excel in this position, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in the public sector.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes (including Kustomize/Helm).
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other databases and tools like Argo CD or Openshift GitOps.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and German. A valid Swiss work permit or EU passport is required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Testing/Infrastructure Testing.
  • Familiarity with Git, GitOps principles, and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools.
  • Understanding of high-level programming languages and tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Bitbucket.
  • Experience with Artifact Repository tools (e.g., Sonatype Nexus).
