About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and management of CI/CD pipelines in an agile environment. You will work collaboratively with development teams to ensure effective deployment of applications on OpenShift and optimize existing infrastructure integrations.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift clusters.
- Collaborate closely with development teams.
- Monitor and optimize pipelines performance; troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
- Ensure collaboration with the client for integration with existing infrastructure.
About the Candidate
To excel in this position, the ideal candidate should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in the public sector.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes (including Kustomize/Helm).
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other databases and tools like Argo CD or Openshift GitOps.
- Full professional proficiency in English and German. A valid Swiss work permit or EU passport is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Testing/Infrastructure Testing.
- Familiarity with Git, GitOps principles, and Terraform.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools.
- Understanding of high-level programming languages and tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Bitbucket.
- Experience with Artifact Repository tools (e.g., Sonatype Nexus).
