About the Role

As a service-oriented and data-driven online access panel provider, horizoom GmbH aims to offer the best quality in the German survey market for real value in market research. Operating since early 2023 in Berlin and Cologne, and with 28 employees, we focus on our team, our survey participants, and our clients, believing in a "people first" approach. We are looking for an engaged and analytically-minded Full-Stack Developer (m/f/d) to support our tech team, with a focus on backend development.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our tech team to support colleagues in other areas.
  • Engage in backend development, UI/UX work, and other areas such as data pipelines and browser extension development.
  • Contribute to the further development of our Panel Management Software.
  • Enhance the Ruby on Rails backend and work on our Vue/Nuxt app.
  • Understand the challenges faced by our colleagues and clients, developing tooling to ease their workflow.
  • Participate in product and architectural decisions as well as team development.

About the Candidate

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 2 years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks is required.
  • Experience in frontend frameworks such as Vue/Nuxt or React.
  • Good proficiency in German, both written and spoken.
  • You should be self-motivated, possess a responsible working style, and have strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
