About the Role
In this exciting role, you will work both on-site in Vancouver or remotely within the PST timezone. As a Frontend Developer, you will develop modern web applications utilizing technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Next.js. Your core hours will be from 9.30am PST to 4.30pm PST.
Responsibilities
- Develop modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Build responsive and accessible UI components.
- Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs into the frontend.
- Optimize performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on feature development and UI/UX implementation.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining a clean codebase.
About the Candidate (Expectations and Nice to Have Skills)
We are looking for candidates with 3–5 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of:
- React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript
- Next.js, including SSR and SSG
- CSS frameworks like Tailwind, SCSS, or Styled Components.
Additionally, familiarity with state management tools (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and understanding performance, accessibility, and frontend testing practices will be beneficial. Exposure to headless CMS and build tools like Vite/Webpack is a plus.
