About the Role
PTR Global is looking for a Lead Java Developer to join their team based in Jersey City, NJ. This hybrid role requires 2 to 3 days of office presence. The candidate should have over 10 years of relevant experience in software application programming and project management, with strong technical skills in JAVA, SQL, and microservices development. Responsibilities include managing projects effectively and producing high-quality code.

- Carry out systems analysis and programming for various applications.
- Ensure that the project deadlines are met despite pressure or changing requirements.
About the Candidate
Expectations:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Java development.
- Strong experience in Java, Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Batch, and SOAP/Restful Services.
- Proficient in SQL (Oracle) and experienced in PL/SQL.
- Understanding of micro-services architecture and messaging technologies like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with Graph DB, Unix scripting, and collaboration tools.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Workflow tools like JBPM.
- Strong design skills and the ability to write low defect rate code.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
