Site Reliability Engineer

About the Role

Fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work in an cutting edge environment in a worldwide industry leading company. This is a hybrid based position requiring 2 days a week on site in Staffordshire, England. You will join us within our HQ during an exciting time for our organization, where we are modernizing and implementing the latest principles and methodologies to future-proof our organization.

Responsibilities

• Focus on our applications to deliver reliable services, concentrating on their availability and overall performance.
• Work in a cross-functional team, preferably coming from a development background with an understanding of the full development lifecycle.
• Engage with a wide range of technologies, including AWS/GCP, Terraform, Python, Golang/Go, Splunk, New Relic, and Grafana.
• Solid stakeholder management and communication skills are essential as your soft skills will be as important as your technical skills.

About the Candidate

We need you to have:

• Experience in SRE/DevOps focused positions.
• Awareness of the latest technologies and trends.
• A development background moving into SRE/DevOps (or at least a desire to transition with demonstrable skills in Terraform, AWS/GCP, Splunk, New Relic, Grafana, Python, and Golang/Go).
