About the Role
For an exciting project (KaiOS) at a public IT service provider, Modis is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a focus on API Management, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate IBM API Connect, Kestra, and Kafka
- Administration and automation of Kubernetes/OpenShift environments
- Development and operation of APIs (Frontend & Backend)
- Scripting & automation with Python and Ansible
- Establish monitoring, backup, and restore structures
- Actively participate in the agile team (e.g., daily meetings, PI planning)
About the Candidate
You should have:
- Several years of DevOps experience
- Excellent knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Practical experience with IBM API Connect, Kafka, and ideally Kestra
- Skills in API development, Python, and Ansible.
- Familiarity with agile methods (Scrum)
Must-Have Skills:

Nice-to-Have Skills:
