About the Role
The IBM Technology Services organization is seeking an IT Management Consultant with expertise in IBM storage technology and products. This role is critical for leading and delivering client engagements that enable the adoption of IBM Storage solutions and help influence IBM revenue. Candidates should have a robust history of IBM storage consultative and architectural project engagements and be adept at assessing IT infrastructures and evaluating best practices.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing service offerings and delivering client services engagements around IBM Storage software and hardware solutions, including Software Defined Storage, IBM Scale, and more. A significant aspect of the role requires knowledge in agile methodologies and coding/scripting skills in Python and Ansible.
Additionally, you should have hands-on experience in planning and deploying IBM storage infrastructures in client environments, along with integrating multi-vendor components. Experience with tools such as IBM Scale, IBM FlashSystem, and SAN networking is essential.
About the Candidate
Successful candidates will have at least 1 year of experience in delivering IBM storage consulting projects and architecting IBM storage infrastructures. Skills in client-facing communications, agile development, and automation are critical. You must be ready for travel, approximately 25-50%.
Preferred qualifications include at least 3 years of relevant experience and fluency in English. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred over an Associate’s Degree.
