About the Role
As a Java Developer, you will work effectively with cross-functional teams to design and develop middle layer services in Java and/or C#/.Net. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with PMO, Development, Product Management, Business and Technical Operations, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, Networks, and Architecture teams.
- Drafting and reviewing architectural diagrams, specifications, business requirements, and design documents.
- Maintaining awareness of industry trends, compliance concerns, risk control processes, and the regulatory landscape.
- Mentoring other software developers.
About the Candidate
To qualify for this role, the candidate should possess the following:
- 3-7 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and web services development using REST, SOAP, and JSON.
- Hands-on experience with Java server technologies such as J2EE and relevant tools like Tomcat and Maven.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming design patterns.
Desired Skills
Additional skills that will be advantageous include:
- Knowledge in Financial Markets, Banking, or Wealth Management.
- Familiarity with non-development fields such as Product, UX, and Business Analytics.
- Experience with C#, .Net, .Net Core, JavaScript, AJAX, and related frameworks like REACT or Angular.
