About the Role

Are you interested in working on real-world applications that directly impact healthcare workers and patients? Want to take the lead on key backend systems while mentoring your team in architecture and clean code practices? This is your opportunity!

You’ll be the most senior engineer and help lead the design and building of a new notification system. Your role will include splitting off and refactoring parts of the old backend and guiding your team on applying Domain-Driven Design in practice. You don’t need deep AWS knowledge, but you should be comfortable using the AWS SDK directly in your code.

  • 4 years of experience with backend development (Node.js/TypeScript)
  • Some experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
  • Ability to guide team members in code and modeling
  • Familiarity with AWS SDKs in application code
  • Must be based in the Netherlands (visa sponsorship available)
