About the Role
Doghouse Recruitment is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a small product organization near Rotterdam. They provide SaaS solutions for project management in large construction and infrastructure projects, with prominent clients such as VolkerWessels, BAM, and Boskalis.
Responsibilities
The operations team of 5 is responsible for maintaining and optimizing all technology except the software itself.
- You will collaborate closely with developers.
- You will handle 2nd/3rd line support for customer issues related to the product.
- You will work on an internal development platform running on Kubernetes (on-prem).
- Collaborate with a hosting partner for production environments.
- Troubleshoot issues and manage incidents.
- Maintain the internal Kubernetes environment.
- Improve and automate projects, potentially working with their hosting provider.
About the Candidate
We seek someone with:
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in system administration/operations within Microsoft/Windows environments; knowledge of Linux is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience with Kubernetes (preferably on-prem, not just cloud-based).
- Familiarity with automation tools (any 2 from PowerShell, C#, Bash, Bicep, Ansible, Terraform).
- A CKA certification would be ideal but can be pursued with the unlimited training budget if not already attained.

- Work arrangements include 50% work from home and 50% in-office.
- The salary offered ranges between €60,000 - €75,000, with additional benefits.
