About the Role
Join AGILA Haustierversicherung AG as a JavaScript Developer (m/w/d) where you'll become a part of our development team that combines talented developers and experienced project managers. Together, we hold responsibility for the central backend systems—maintaining and continuously improving them. Our work focuses on exciting projects revolving around the core processes of the insurance industry, creating tailored solutions for our company.
- Develop, optimize, and document applications related to our AGILA backends and the surfaces provided by the development team.
- Conduct regular code reviews and comprehensive testing.
- Take on innovative development projects related to new digital topics and tools as services for our customers.
- Collaborate closely with relevant departments and advise internal stakeholders on technical possibilities.
- Support the management and coordination of external IT service providers, ensuring quality control of delivered results.
- Foster continuous optimization of the development process concerning quality, implementation cycles, and documentation of all work results.
- Present your work results and ensure close and transparent communication with management and your team.
About the Candidate
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have a completed education or degree in Computer Science or comparable qualifications.
- Possess solid knowledge of ECMAScript / JavaScript and feel comfortable with common technologies and frameworks such as Node.js, Vue.js, or comparable.
- Have very good knowledge of tools for agile software development and areas like APIs, testing, and documentation.
- Ideally have experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
- Are team players who value open exchange and team success.
- Have fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
