Our client is a leading infrastructure provider of virtual asset solutions, delivering services including custody, wallets, staking, trading, financing, and settlement, all from regulated cold storage. As the world's largest independent cryptocurrency custodian and staking provider, they serve a substantial volume of Bitcoin network transactions and many top-tier institutions globally.
In this role, you will become the in-house expert on developer experience with Node.js and TypeScript, translating their needs into cutting-edge solutions while shaping best practices. You will architect, construct, and fine-tune the platform's backbone, crafting scalable services and Node.js-powered tools that empower high-throughput custody and financial service offerings.
Responsibilities
- Architect, construct, and fine-tune the platform's backbone with a focus on scalability.
- Craft and integrate essential libraries, frameworks, and workflows that streamline software development.
- Pioneer tools and processes that accelerate engineering velocity from seamless deployment to testing suites.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and invest in system reliability and resilience through innovation.
- Partner across engineering disciplines to maintain unified standards for API design and system performance.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate should have:
- Expertise in Node.js, npm, and TypeScript for backend systems.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and their lifecycle.
- Proficient testing and debugging abilities.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and agile practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including algorithm design and complexity analysis.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
