About the Role
PharmaSGP Holding SE is looking for a Backend Developer (w/m/d) for our E-Commerce platforms. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Development and optimization of the backend functionalities of our existing and new E-Commerce platforms.
- Continuously improving the performance of our website with a focus on user experience and speed.
- Driving initiatives for new plugins or other optimizations to attract existing and new customers.
- Troubleshooting and developing solutions for potential errors.
- Collaborating closely with our frontend/UX team and the E-Commerce team in general.
About the Candidate
We expect candidates to have the following experiences and skills:
- Expertise in the Shopify ecosystem and use of Shopify tools such as Shopify Flows, Shopify APIs, Shopify Scripts, and theme and app development.
- Programming in the Shopify programming language Liquid.
- Experience in developing custom Shopify apps to extend platform functionality based on customer requirements.
- Solid understanding of E-Commerce principles including product management, inventory management, checkout processes, and payment gateways.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, PHP, JavaScript (React, Node.js), and CSS.
- Extensive knowledge in at least one backend web development technology such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Python, Symfony, and experience with databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in German and English at C1 level.
