About the Role
Join Devoteam G Cloud, a leader in Google Cloud solutions. As a passionate Data Engineer GCP / Java, you will enhance our Data & AI team by designing and developing data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub. Your responsibilities will also include the implementation of complex data processes using Java (with Apache Beam/Dataflow), collaboration with clients to define business and technical needs, and optimization of data architectures in terms of performance, scalability, and security. You will be working in an agile environment, part of multidisciplinary teams involving both Devoteam and client personnel.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess advanced mastery of Java (version 8) and proven experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub. An understanding of SQL, Git, and continuous integration is also expected. You should be capable of handling complex Data Engineering projects, both batch and streaming. We value autonomy, precision, and effective communication in our team members.
Nice to have skills include:
- GCP certification (Data Engineer or Cloud Architect)
- Familiarity with Apache Beam, Spark, or Airflow
- Experience in a DevOps/Kubernetes environment
- Proficiency in English
