About the Role

We are looking for Data Engineers to help build a state-of-the-art Data Platform in Google Cloud Platform at Xccelerated. As part of our data team, you will work together with experienced colleagues on building a modern Data Platform from scratch that will be used for insights and self-service analytics across the organization.

Your Responsibilities

You will play a crucial part in:

  • Collaborating with engineering and analytics teams to build components of the platform enabling users to create scalable pipelines and deploy models in production.
  • Building, deploying and maintaining the Data Platform on GCP.
  • Maintaining and developing infrastructure pertaining to data.
  • Ensuring the cohesive integration between systems and data models to achieve our organization’s goal of becoming data-driven.

The Xccelerated Program

In the first year, you will be part of the Xccelerated program, where you’ll receive:

  • 2 full-time weeks of hands-on bootcamp training focused on deployable code, containerization, data engineering, and cloud fundamentals.
  • Regular training and project support from Tech Leads every Friday.
  • An opportunity to work 4 days a week as a Data (Platform) Engineer at our partner organization, facilitating growth and hands-on experience.

About You

We are looking for individuals with a strong can-do mentality, focused on results and eager to tackle challenging tasks. Your background includes:

  • A Bachelor/Master level education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cloud Computing or a related field.
  • 1-4 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with familiarity with the big data platform stack such as Databricks, Spark, Airflow.
  • Experience working with Public Cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure).
  • Proficiency in Python.
