Software Engineer

About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join a high-growth SaaS startup used by marketers and growing fast. You'll join the Platform team — the group building the backend systems that power intelligent workflows, data-rich insights, and AI-driven creative tools. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will focus on designing and implementing backend APIs and services that power our workflows for marketing and creative professionals.

What You’ll Do

• Work with Node.js and TypeScript to build and scale data pipelines and complex integrations (Meta API, etc.)
• Design backend APIs that support marketing workflows
• Collaborate closely with product engineers to bring powerful features to life
• Impact customer-facing products and build workflows that use OpenAI SDK to deliver value

About the Candidate

You are a backend-leaning engineer with 10 years of experience who has successfully scaled systems from "1 to 100". You have a deep expertise in designing backend APIs and a strong grasp of API integrations, ETL pipelines, and data processing. Familiarity with AI/ML tools like OpenAI SDK is a plus. Additionally, you need to be a clear communicator who can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
